Just Finished My 1st Contest (this past weekend!) PICS ARE IN!!
I just finished competing in my very first contest (April 24th) and I won the Light Heavyweight Division. Here are the pics of my results! ---> http://www.members.shaw.ca/muscleman/show.htm Click the thumbnails to make bigger.
The ones of me in black posing suit are from prejudging, the ones of me in blue are from the evening show and the ones taken outside are from the day-after the show (Sunday).
Thanks to everyone on here who answered my precontest questions within this forum the weeks leading up to my show, and gave me advice, it really helped me to come into the show looking my best!

Thank you as well, I weighed in at 178 pounds on that Friday night before the contest. On Saturday between prejudging and the evening show, I was down to 175.5. I was at 202 pounds before starting to diet down 9 weeks out.
Right now (4 days after the comp., I weigh 182 pounds).
I am 5'11" tall, so yah, I do have lots of room for growth!

I did work hard....did 9 weeks of planned dieting and I pretty much felt like hell the last week or so. But you have to feel sh!tty to look good, at least that is what I have experienced...lol. it was all worth it tho, and I would do it again!

Very impressive indeed. Good job bro. In your opinion,
(since you have so much of that exp competiting) check my situation out: ive gone from 30% to 19% to 17%. In the last 2 % ive gained two lbs of muscle while losing 4lbs of fat.
Do you think I can continue these gains or will i start to lose some?
Oh, and just so i dont hijack the thread, again, very impressed man what can i tell ya. Good job bro.

It's hard to say, and it all depends on your diet manipulation from here on out. One thing you want to make sure is that you don't lose too much bodyweight too quickly (no more than 1-2 pounds per week), anymore than this and you run the risk of losing lean muscle with your fat...so be gradual in your reduction, and you'll be able to maintain your gains no prob! Thanks for the compliments, I appreciate it!

bro you look awesome! I?m 31 days out from my first contest. I?m a little nervous about it because I don?t think im where I should be at five weeks outs. I?m at 7% bf now but still holding some fat on my lower back. Is it to late to loose the excess or do I still have time? Ill try to post pictures later.

Hammer down on the HIT cardio man! You still have a lot of time and you can accomplish A LOT in 5 weeks, believe me! Stick to your diet and the gradual reduction of calories each week, and do very intense cardio. Drink tons of water each day as well. Continue to lift heavy as possible for each workout, and stay positive. Practice your posing and routine, as this will condition you even more. Do all of this, and believe me, come the final few weeks, you will start to see more changes happen...have faith in your approach and don't do anything extreme, stick to your plan.
