Just a quick question guys, how much does a 6ft thick bar weigh? My mate said it weighs about 50lbs, it feels alot more to me!
To anyone that uses one for deadlifts, how much improvement in strength have you gained when going back to a regular oly bar?
Many thanks

while we're on the subject of weighing stuff...when a person claims he's benched a particular amount of weight....is the weight of the bar included??? eg. mr.x benches 300lbs..is that inclusive of bar or just the plates?
really sorry for the hijack..dont think this question is worth a thread starter

weighed the bastered!
70lbs! and 61/2" thick. Doesnt seem that thick considering other bars are about 4-41/2" thick.
Thanks for the help anyway.
