Is it possible to bulk up and cut fat at the same time?
Hey guys, so this past december i started bulking and went from 177 pounds to consistently weighing about 192 right now. I'm 5 foot 9 and back in december i had roughly about 11% BF and now i'm down to 9-10%. I've been lifting hard 4 days a week and doing cardio once or twice a week as well as consuming about 4000 calories a day. I have been eating pretty clean and i'm just curious if it is possible to keep lowering my bodyfat while putting on more weight.
I know the concept of doing a cut is going on a calorie deficit diet, which would make you lose weight... but do you guys think that if i'm eating very clean with lifting and some cardio, i can be trimming the little fat i have while getting larger?
Just looking for some input about it and if anyone has done this before. Thanks!

You can definitely do it. I've been doing it for the last three months. The only caveat is that gains come a bit mroe slowly, though I think they look more impressive, as you're leaner when you make them.
Nice numbers, by the way.

thanks, i've been working at it pretty hard for the last 5 months or so. How have you been accomplishing this task, just eating very clean and doing some cardio throughout the week with your lifting?

I eat VERY clean, and do GPP, but not really cardio. In the last three months I've dropped a bunch of fat, and put on about two pounds of bodyweight, so my lean mass has gone up considerably. I usually lift heavy three days a week, and then do plyos, some single arm OLY lifting, and a ****load of bodyweight exercises on off days, with one day of full rest a week, on which I eat no carbs whatsoever.

Sounds like an excellent plan, and you are looking good. (NO homo)
