    How much fat can you gain in 3 days?

    I was TERRIBLE dieting this weekend and I can visibly see more fat on me..how much fat is it possible I gained because the scale says 5 pounds of fat..that's crazy for 3 days I'd say anyone more educated than me care to give an explaination?

    Water weight, if you pigged out to **** you will weigh a bit more for a while. You have not gained 5 pounds hell i doubt you even gained 1 and as far as visible its in your head. If you can gain all that from a weekend of binge eating i would have been 350 pounds the way i ate. You will be fine.

    1lb per extra 3500Calories. I really doubt you at like 20,000 Calories... its just water weight. Usually extra carbs for me mean holding extra water.

    It would actually be a lot higher than that. Say his normal amount burned is 3000 calories/day it would be over 30,000 after metabolism boosts and costs of digesting such a huge amount of food.

    You didn't happen to eat 20 large pizzas did you?

    Pretty much the most fast you can realistically put on in 3 days would be 2 lbs, and that would be eating a lot of crap food.

    I agree with everybody else, water weight. PLus, if you ate A LOT OF FOOD> I guarandamntee it is also some undigested food too. Dont feel bad. Just forget it happened and move on.

    The fact that you appear visibley fatter would probabley indicate that it is just water weight maybe a little bloating. As someone else pointed out...undigested food could play a role...if you think about it... on a diet you won't have much food in your system, but if you go on a binge...there could be left overs the next morning. Obviously a bad weekend is unfortunate, but don't get too caught up in it...just focus on your goal.
