I need some help on this one guys. Sugar? Is it bad or good for gains? I have checked out some research, but I dont really understand it. Can anyone put it into plain english for me? I got worried when I saw on this page that "White sugar should be outlawed". (Rule 64 or something)

Whats the deal? I am trying to gain muscle, but I do have a pretty high white sugar intake. Should I limit this intake?
Thanks for all your help guys.

Yes, you should limit your sugar intake. You WILL see a difference in your gains.

Sugar has a high a glycemic index. This causes an huge spike in insulin. Insulin causes the body to store nutrients as energy, which is essentially storing fat. So a huge spike in insulin causes a large fat-storing urge.
It's bad.
There are good sugars and bad sugars, but since I have no idea what you eat or what your goals are, just keep it low where you can.
