Not the greatest workout, but pushed through it. Everything felt really heavy today. After the first set of squats, I widened my stance a bit, and hence could not go ATG (I still went as deep as I could). After squatting, my body felt pretty beat up and couldn't put up the weight I wanted on the other exercises. Still a decent workoutYou didn't hurt me

still putting up pretty decent numbers.
really impressed with the goodmornings. You think good mornings would be good at upping deadlift numbers? The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and hear all kinds of talk, get told that you're a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds. ~Henry Rollins

Notes
First off, my shoulder is still bothering me, especially on the skulls (which I'm dropping next week). Other then that, it was bearable. I kept the rest periods very short on chest so I could stimulate the muscles with light weight. I didn't go to failure on the first set, and I bet I could have do 23-4 if I wanted. Flat were actually a little tough with such a long set. Played it very conservative w/ flys for obvious reasons.

Bad, bad weekend for me and feeling mentally unstable. Depression is kicking in once again and plan on seeing a doc tommorrow to see if I can get something. If I dont' post in the forums for a while, this is most likely the reason.... plus my computer has gone kaput (yes, my NEW 4 week old computer). Anyways, I let out my emotions on today's workout. However, by the end of it, I just didn't want to lift anymore and quit.....

Joe Budden - Whatever It Takes
"This too won’t last, this too shall pass
At least that’s what I say y’all, that’s what I pray for
And I’m the only thing that’s standin’ in my way y’all
But I gotta be with me, it’s no escape y’all
I guess depression just stepped in, and took over **** like it’s known to do
Guess it said, hey Joe, I’m going home with you
Turn your phone off, I need to be alone with you
I need to be in the zone with you
‘Cause I’m the only thing you’ve grown to, *****
Look, I own you, *****
Been with you since 10, but you starting to confuse me
‘Cause it’s been so long and you still tryin’ to lose me
Like ____, you show me such cruelty
When everybody turns their back on you, it’s just you and me
Still you don’t want me to see you right
And why you always come get me, how we re-unite
I know you feel for me deep in your heart
Doctors, meetings, pills couldn’t keep us apart
What, now, you got a deal and you wanna get rid of me?
We roommates, I’m in your head, Joe you live with me
So I don’t write for my fans, nah, I write to my man
And hope that he’ll just leave and understand
Like, just please leave the kid in peace
Let me smoke this one cig in peace
Just leave for a second, man it’s been too long, and I can’t do it
And as long as you around I can’t make that dance music"Creeping while you're sleeping.

thanks, all. feeling a little better today, mostly b/c I'm trying to keep busy and be around others.... plus I ate a box of lucky charms last night and slept 12 hours Renewed an old prescription of lexapro, so hopefully I'll feel 'normal' (me, normal. Ha) in a few weeks
anyways, I'm just doing what I want in the gym.... didn't write anything down, but I pretty know what I did
