    t-bar rows

im getting too used to barbell rows, i need to change my back workout up a bit, i want to replace em with t-bar rows , but my gym doesnt have any type of tbar machine... can i just get an olympic bar, and put weights on one end and stick it in a corner and row?

yes, this is actually the best way to do them in my opinion. We have a t-bar row machine but I like doing it the way you described much better, make sure youre make isn't curved when you lean over, and keep your head up.

are t bar rows good? i cant feel it getting pumped, and you cant seem to pull all the way back until your muscles fully contract.

Yeah they work grrrreat, I've always done them like that. As said above, just keep your back straight and your head up. You can either just interlock your fingers or grab an attachment for a cable machine to do them.
