    Peanut butter before bed?

This may seem stupid, but not when you're getting started. What's the purpose of eating pb before going to bed?

If you eat it with some cottage cheese, it slows down the digestion of cottage cheese (casein protein) and feeds your muscles during the night preventing a catabolic state.

I've started eating 2.25 ounces, aka around 65 grams before bed. I'm 6'1, 210, and trying to bulk. Is that too much to eat, not enough, or sound about right?

65g of what? And to your question "is that too much?", it really depends on the rest of your diet.

I thought it would be clear because of the topic of this post, but I was referring to the fact that I'm eating 65g of PEANUT BUTTER. It's the smooth type, I eat it usually about an hour and a half before bed. The rest of my diet is filled w/5 meals of mostly meat and potatos/rice. Just wondered if that's too much pb before bed, just right, or not enough. I'm trying to bulk.
