1- You can. Just make sure you apply it as evenly as possible for the final coat.
2- You can take showers, however you will lose about 75% of the previous coat with each thorough shower.
3- It'll make some blotch marks in your skin. ProTan is only a stainer. Think of it as paint for your skin.
4- Use a full body mirror. A good friend and/or a wife can help too.
5- The ProTan stainer will last 2-3 days if you only have 1 coat on your skin. Additional coats will take a lil more time to where away. (4-5 days) You'll just look like you have a natural tan if you applied it well.
6- ProTan is the stainer. Dream Tan is a bronzer. A bronzer is what competitors have on stage on top of a coat or two of stainer. Those stage lights are bright! You can get dark enough with just a stainer, but you'd need at least 8-10 days for someone of average caucasion complexion and apply everyday.
7- ProTan works fine on your face. Use a makeup brush to apply it instead of the ProTan brush tho. You can use your hands to do it as well, just do your best to make it even. Nothing is more dumb than seeing a competitor that didn't put anything on his face and his head is as white as a lightbulb.
8- Apply first in a striping motion...then horizontally to mix over as much surface area as possible.
9- Same answer as question 4.

I would advise against the dreamtan simply because you don't shower off the excess after applying and it hides your cuts. When i applied my Pro Tan, i looked worse than before i had it on. When i showered in the morning, all my definition came back. Stay away from Dreamtan and thank me later!!! You also should shower after every coat. Just make sure it soaks in good or else you will wash almost everything away.

Hey SHANE! how was your comp? well, did you do it yet?
so no dream tan? hmm... I will need a reallly good base tan..
and shane, a shower after each coat? like you put a coat, you wait til' its dry, and go take a shower without rubbing any soap?
you really need to explain everystep of what you did shane haha, i wanna know how your comp went, or how it will be if you didnt do it yet!
For now i think Ill just have a really base dark tan, and then ill put like 3 coats of protan just because dream tan and protan is expensive haha..
and how many days before the comp day you should do your last shave?

IN resonse to your questions. Pro Tan is actually a very strong self tanner with a stain to use as a guide coat.
When you shower after three to four coats some of the outter stain will wash away. But underneath your body is still tanning itself naturally from the DHA in the product. This is why starting a few days prior is the best way to go. You will get the benefits of the stain as well as the self tanning from the active ingredients.
Also I would recommend our Quick Bronze very highly. Use this just like you would a posing oil before you hit the stage but it has some added color to even you out and make you look great under the lights..
Good luck and PM me with anymore questions.

LOL strong bump. I'm pretty sure Antoine knows what he is doing by now, he's on his way to getting his pro card.

thanks guys, to respond you can just quote this and put your answers :
1- 3 coats is not alot antoinne. protan generally looks the best if you shower off after each coat. so 3 coats after showering wouldnt look like much. the longer you have it on your skin the longer it will seep into the skin and hold the color.
2-I like using both protan as a base and then topping it off with jantana high def. I did a whole bottle of protan and washed off after each coat. some coats I left on over night then washed off in the morning. I start wed night. then friday after weighing in I do the jantana non stop untill I am dark enough
3-shave wed night right b4 putting the first coat on. or thurs morning
4-yah have a experienced friend do it for you. my wife has got pretty good over time. a newbie may **** it up so I wouldnt advise that.
5-only problem I have with using both jantana and protan is that its damn near stuck on your skin. the jantana comes off really good. almost all at once but the protan **** stay a while and then comes off in incriments makes you look like you have leperasy
6-some judges dont like dream tan. some national shows dont allow it also. I like jantana the best. protan as a base. I have done dream tan but its easy to go to heavy and then it takes away some definition and you look muddy
7-for your face I just take the jantana and mix it with there lotion and dab it on accordinly. didnt give me that freaky appearace that protan did. protan just always made my face look like ****.
8-to avoid stripes have the person throwing it on do it semi fast and be sure to hair dry as they go. if you leave a part wet and forget about it, ooppps then you have stripes. work in sections
9-yep wife or girlfriend. otherwise you can have a guy friend but I like to do it naked so thats out of the question.
Good luck bro. you looked really good
oh and if all else fails and the tan is to much of a headache just get srprayed 3 or 4 times. I have seen the spray offered at shows but they offer 2 spray and it never gets them dark enough. do 3 or 4.

You look awesome!! Quick Bronze really does an amazing job of adding some color and enough sheen to really set you off under the lights.
You should make a thread about Quick Bronze... So many athletes are unaware of how great that product really is.
