Do the mods of this forum even exist? I mean, I'm a mod on a pretty busy internet forum and redundant threads like this (searchable, etc.) would get locked in no-time.

I did do a search for low intensity vs high intensity and came up with nothing as far as polls. I'm not trying to find out what high and low intensity cardio is, because that is quite obvious, I'm trying to see what everybody else prefers.
To Dave P: I did not include moderate intensity, because I personally do not want to look like a long distance runner. I have done moderate intensity cardio for most of my life, and all it does for me is make my lungs stronger...

I like the rep system, but it can be misused. An example is in justdragits velocity thread. This guy is getting his friends to neg me, which is kind of defeating the purpose. I actually dropped two levels from this lol.
I do like it though, kind of like the gamefaqs Karma system.

Well I'll say I'm not a big fan. The fact that a long-time poster with questionable judgement is given this much sway has left a pretty bad taste in my mouth.
I have been lurking here for a while and started posting recently, was looking forward to becoming a regular contributor with whatever help I could lend (having recently achieved quite a bit of fat loss) and now I have the "reputation" of a troll on this board for suggesting some tighter moderation. Maybe I'll go back to lurking. Anyway, I know nobody cares, and my old friend fitnessman will say good riddance or something snappy like that.

I can understand that. Which is why I was in the process of typing up a pm to you, telling you not respond. He has over 1 million reps, and is a mod.
I agree to an extent.

Where do you mod at? Alot of people say what you say without knowing how large this board truly is.
Ever hear of the report button?

You're right, I should have used the report button or PM'ed a mod, that was my mistake. However, the actions undertaken by the mod in question (also, I didn't know that mods here had no other distinctions than bolded names, not an obvious thing, anyway...) were, in my opinion, not becoming of a mod. It's also worth noting that I've been reading this board for a while and this is not an isolated incident, it seems to happen several times a day, with posters like Aaron and ScottC seemingly performing mod duties (even though they are not), by handling the massive amount of redundant thread. At one point I suggested that it made sense for ScottC to be made a mod of this subforum since he is by far the most helpful poster here IMHO in terms of mod duties. Anyway, these things can be discussed further by PM, if you like. However, like I said, the abuse of power shown by fitnessman (who I hadn't seen post here other than to flex his mod muscle) has left a bad taste of this community, which I was warming up to.
I moderate at a board that is very comparable size to bodybuilding.com as a whole (I'd rather not say which particular site), it's within 10-15 spots of this forum on these rankings, http://rankings.big-boards.com/?p=all. However, the subforum I moderate on that site would rank as a top 4 or so subforum on this site.

Well you started it by your post(which is considered an insult to the mod staff)....you have to accept the consequence.
Every board is different in terms of moderating them.

Agreed, exactly the reason I won't be contributing here (one moderator at least is too sensitive, not open to constructive criticism, and uses questionable judgement in applying disproportionate judgement). Anyway, take care.
(to answer Aaron, a mere 500,000+ points, a mature reaction indeed)

Dude, I told you to let it drop.
I tried everything to keep you here. I apologized for you, defended you, yet you continued to make comments towards the mods. Why.

Funny thing is 95% of the time I replace the reps in a few weeks.
Back on topic:
One is served best by mixing up cardio. High, low and moderate. I dropped 51lbs this years by doing just that.
