I'm hoping to get bigger in the gym soon and add on an extra 10-15lbs so I'm a more solid weight and body size. What do I need to do and buy?

Hey bro, I'm in the same exact boat as you. I used to weigh 160lbs, cut my weight down to 135lbs (slowly regaining size/strength). If you want my advice, start doing compound lifts and 5x5, lift heavy and low rep. Keep Cardio to a maximum of 15minutes per week, or do as I do and do short distance sprints on your local track. Look into getting a mass gainer too (preferably with some creatine monohydrates in it). I strongly recommend the 12lb bag of Serious Mass for only about $55 or Super Mass Gainer by Dymatize Nutrition, for about $25-$30. Both are fairly cheap, and provide an awesome source of Calories, Carbs, Protein, and Creatine. I consider myself still a novice (been working out for a little over a year), but if you need any help at all feel free to hmu.

ErikTheElectric, you sound like a rotten royal turd. The way you come off is very stuck up and pretentious. There are people starving in this world and you're acting as if stuffing your face is something to be proud of. Your patents should have been informed how you'd turn out like this one day so they could have chosen to down you at birth.
To everyone else thanks for the advice. I respect 5x5 but I have to say it's just mentally exhausting doing 5 sets of squats and deadlifts. I feel I can get the same results doing 3x8-10.

canned Sardines, Sardines in olive oil, Eggs, rice milk, milk, whey protein, casein, Salmon, and Tuna are really good places to hit at for protein and calories. Just some random things to try in your diet Chicken breast gets so old I love fish it's great to add in remember you need calories as much as protein don't sweat it transition into your diet it takes 21 days to make a habit. Try to make it a habit in 21 days to get 150 grams of protein in your diet then in the next 21 days try to figure out what you should adjust to get GAINZ.

135lbs, as long as not fat is healthy for the weight.
Remember me laughing the day you get your first joint failure, tendon damage, and even if you need bolts in your knees please.
Then when I'm a normal weight and don't have any of these problems because I wasn't some unconfident loser who hid in the gym all day.

Thanks mate, unless you're a professional doing it for money there's not really another way about it is there. And if you're a professional, you'll be taking more than just food to get big. These guys are just a punch of pathetic fuks, they probably come from loser websites like 4chan and hackforums, and probably watch bent sh!t like japanese weird cartoons. Just a bunch of sadkunts thinking theyre better than everyone else for counting calories like women.
