your calves are tight and their pulling on the tendon, you need a deep tissue massage and believe me the calf is the most painfull bodypart for that you'll just about be in tears by the end (if its done properly)
Bodybuilding is all about image not numbers, when you're up on stage your lifting stats and bodyfat % means nothing to the judges.

    thanks man

its not a pain on my calf tho, its like a pain running down the side of my leg, next to the calf...like starting half way down my lower leg and stopping a little big above my ankle...
doens hurt any more right now tho, usually jsut a couple hours after heavy squats

pushing through the toes?? Could be due to a heavy load...if you are pushing through your heels (which you need to stop, and transfer loads to heels)...but you will be pushing using your calf...so use the quad and it should help
