Took L-Arginine + L-Ornithine first time
So I tried using L-Arginine and L-Ornithine for the first time today and woa boy did it ever work. I thought L-Arginine and L-Ornithine weren't supposed to really have an effect until use after a week or two? I had a bicep pump that wouldn't go away for like 2 hours.
However, I did have some problems. First off, it left me with this kind of sickly feeling in my stomach (as though I didn't eat anything before leaving for the gym) for the first two exercises. After that, normal energy levels returned.
Secondly, it was my back and bicep day today, and my forearms started hurting a lot during the bicep work. And not the forearm muscle, but all around the outside of the forearm around the bone. Really weird.
Is any of this normal? Also, if a supplement has 625 mg of L-Arginine and 375 mg of L-Ornithine, how many capsules would I have to take before working out to see an effect? Also, I'm 160 lbs.

If you are prone to canker sores (herpes) make sure you take Lysine with it...

I took four (4). I know 3,000 mg of L-Arginine is what you shoot for if you take it alone, but I don't know how to take into account the L-Ornithine (which is supposedly makes the L-Arginine much more potent) or my own weight.

Honestly, I have no idea how I avoided that problem. Thank god....
Thanks for the cap recommendation. You think 2 would be enough to see an effect?

You probably know
Hey, you probably know but the reason why your forearms are hurting is because of the tension on them from keeping your arms twisted in such a way for so long and at the same time the pressure. Soooo, me and my friends get it sometimes too, but a good way to work it out is to grab a couple of 25lb plates and hold them by the outside rim and to swing them back and forth using your forearms only, keep your elbows straight, and dont use your shoulders or elbows, the only thing thats going to move is your forearms. your going to use your wrists sort of. Anyway, hope that helps.

Swinging 25 lbs plates around using only my wrists? Can I just hold a 10 lbs and a 5 lbs in my hands or something? 25'd be a bit much
