Many people won't agree with this for many reasons but lately I've been mixing 6-8 scoops of chocolate whey into a gallon of fat free milk and drinking it over the course of 2-4 days. It helps with cravings because whenever they hit I just go to the fridge and drink some "chocolate" milk. Curbs cravings and it's a much better choice then anything else I'd probably eat.

What you craving for mostly? I was craving meat pies and chocolate and the chocolate can be held at bay with diet lemonade or orangeade sips, the meat pies i cant help you with i couldnt find anything similar and found myself nearly drooling outside bakery shop windows... i didnt compete i just cut up.

Try Glutamine for sugar cravings. 2-3 grams works well.

sugare free jell-o
whip some egg whites till thick and splenda(or any sweetner) + cinnamon then bake in the over for 20-25 min. Tastes like cake. You can add tbl spoon of pb cause u can cut it open and spread it in there (make sure the pb is runny first)
Protien pudding ( if your allowed milk on ur cut)

no its not wierd at all. I myself crave for sweet things mostly, not a big fan of bread.
But if i may make a suggestion about your diet....ur first snack why not add a piece of protien like 4-5oz chicken that will you keep saciated a lot better then just veggies alone. As for your fruit, you should include that in your morning meal rather than later on in the day. Make that snack some sort of protien and vegetable (fiborous)
You could look into getting some stuff from Walden farms if that is an option your willing to explore, either the jellies or maybe davinci syrup to add to ur oatmeal in the morning, something of a somewhat sweet falvour. Just gotta be imganitive while on ur cut.
i have many recipes that look like a lot food but calorie wise is usually less than 150. In that case if you want any ideas just PM me and ill be happy to share.

Something that really really helps me is drinking ice cold water. I mean guzzle it. You might even try some of those crystal light water flavors? I got some this weekend...wild strawberry flavor, only 5 cals per serving...I usually want a sweet something-or-other once a day, but today I didn't really crave anything. Good luck! I know it sucks, lol.

I just eat every two hours on the mark.
Wake up, Protien shake (7am)
an hour later, 1/2 cup egg whites and 1/4 cup oatmeal
2 hours later, turkey breast patty
1 hour later, 1/2 cup egg whites
1 hour later chicken breast
2 hours later Protien shake
1 hour later, turkey breast patty and 1/2 cup egg whites
off to the gym
home from gym, protien shake (7pm)
1 hour later, dinner with chicken breast and green veggies
before bed-2 hours later, protien shake.
Sometimes I substitute other things in there such as salads or more chicken or more turkey burgers...but I just keep adding fuel to the furnace just to keep the fire burning!

I always heard protein begins to degrade when it's mixed with liquid and it wasn't a good idea to mix batches up ahead of time...?

That's an interesting point, I used to mix up a protein shake in the morning for my afterwork workout and it seemed to taste funny. I bought one of the handy minimixers from Bodybuilding.com and solved the problem.

it may seem weird and people at my gym can't understand how in the hell i do it, but when i crave something sweet, while i do cardio, i turn on the food network channel and watch them cook sweets and believe it or not--it helps me! when i did my competition, i eat crap out of s/f jello and now i eat s/f chocolote pudding when i want something sweet, i avoid sugar not much of the carbs!

I have to agree with Defiant on this one. Glutamine works wonders for the sugar craving.....not sure why but it does. Sugar free gum can do the trick but you have to watch it since chewing activates hunger...so buyer beware.

sugar cravings
For sugar cravings during a low-carb regiment, I usually try to increase my fat intake. Taking an Omega 3-6-9 supplement helps as well.

How about natural pb or just even nuts being careful with your portions? You're getting all of the good fats and nuts keep you full for a while. An once of nuts or a tbps of pb is like a treat for me...

I find running really kills my appetite for several hours afterwards...
When I cut for my last show, I was doing 6 meals with protein/carbs at each one and that worked ok, but I often felt ravenous and snacky. This time around (5 weeks to go!) my nutritionist has me eating 11-13 times/day by seperating proteins and carbs. So now I eat pretty much every hour and I find the seperation of the macros help with digestion. It takes dedication, but also prevents ever being hungry because I'm pretty much constantly eating!
