Sharp pain?

Anytime I do any exercises involving my shoulders, I get a really sharp pain in my upper left shoulder [no, it's not soreness] What could this be? and how can I fix it?

Probably 2 weeks now. Yes, I do some basic streching before working out.

Make sure you get a good stretch before the workout - try lowering some of the weight because the pain is probably due to muscle spasms - If it persists or gets worst you might want to talk with your doctor
