Geez guys nice measurements there. Some dude that worked at the gym told me that the ideal was to have your chest be 10 inches larger than your waist. But as bodybuilders, we don't just go for the ideal, we go for the jugular.

Well it all depends if you flex your lats out or not which you didn't. A lot of the guys on here most likely flexed their backs when they took their chest measurement(which isn't wrong either). Because a non flexed 54inch chest with a 33 inch waist would look so weird.
