Hi everyone,
I'm confused... I know that a Pull-up is done with palms facing away from your body and a Chin-up is done with palms directed towards your body.
If that is the case, what is the difference between these two exercises:
Chin-up
Pull-up
Also, what is the difference between these two exercises:
Close Grip Chin-up (are his palms facing away, it's kinda hard to tell. And if they are shouldn't it be called Close Grip Pull-up?)
Underhand Chin-up
Hope my questions are clear,
Knotfreak

Didn't have the chance to check the link... But Chins work the biceps more, where as Pull ups work the lats more... If that was what you're asking?

The phrases have become slightly interchangeable in the past decade or so, but that's incorrect.
Close-grip and underhand chins would also tend to be the same, though with "close-grip" I suppose the closeness might be more extreme. For basic "chin ups" or underhand chins, your hands might be about choulder width, but whatever is comfy for you. With close, grip, they'd be nipple width (yours) usually. But again, it's all about what works for you.
