ON Rocky Road
Hey everyone, just need some advice in taste.
I've always taken Vanilla flavour or Chocolate Optimum Nutrition whey protein.
I'm about to order my next 10lb pack. I was considering Rocky Road, but what is Rocky Road? What kinda flavour is it? Chocolate like flavour or more fruity or vanillaish?
My question may be silly but Rocky Road means nothing to me..
Let me know what ya guys think.

hey man i havnt used it either but why not buy a 5lb of rocky road nd say a 5lb of chocolate mint ive heard great stuff bout both of em nd dosnt cost that much extra for two seperate 5 lb'ers

I obviously can not promise that you will like it, but I personally love the stuff. I have used ON's extereme milk chocolate and the double rich chocolate and i enjoyed both of them (Im partial to chocolate flavors). However, this stuff is my favorite of them all. When you drink it, its almost like you can taste the marshmallow flavor as well as something like a chocolate swirl that you find in ice cream. Its good stuff in my opinion.

Rocky Road is typically an ice cream flavor, which consists of chocolate ice cream with marshmallows and nuts.
The protein powder is basically just chocolate with a hint of marshmallow. I thought it tasted pretty good, but it's very sweet and gets old fast.

Out of all the flavors I've tried (roady road, extreme chocolate, cookies n creme, strawberry, vanilla), I like roady road the best. I'm almost done with a 10lb bag and I just ordered another one. Like the other guy said, I cant promise that you'll like it but its personally my favorite. Order a 2lb bag if you want to try it out first.

I just got some of this a little bit ago, and I have to say out of all the protein powders I have tried this is my favorite. Sometimes it reminds me of a better version of Famous Amos cookies.

ok, here it is....i DON'T like it, i can't wait till i'm done with my tub of rocky road, and as far as chocolate mint...i've tried musclemilk's and it's good, but don't buy a whole 5lbs of it, trust me you'll get sick of it qick, but hey you asked for opinions and there is mine...hopefully i didn't cause to much of a drastic change on your decision.

i personally dont really like it ... i can drink it but the flavor reminds me of a lighter version of ON Casien Choc protein which I think tastes horrible

Personally it's my favourite ON flavour. I actually didn't even mean to buy it. I went to the place I buy my protein, thought I was grabbing double chocolate but instead I got Rocky Road. I was pissed when I got home but once I tried it I was hooked. I went back to get more a couple weeks ago but they were sold out  . Anyways yea it tastes like melted ice cream in water, and I'm cutting so I haven't tried it in milk but I would assume it's good with milk as well.

What about cookies and cream?
Personally i always go with Vanilla because its a weak falvour... Add a spoon of Cocoa powder and you transform it into chocolate flavour.. put bananas and vanilla disapears in favour of banana flavour.. your mind is the limit
