    How long do 10KG dumbbells last?

    Just wondering, if I get two 10KG dumbbells how long will it take before I will generally need to buy more discs for them? At the moment I can lift about 5KGs (lol) but what I really mean is, once I am able to lift with all the discs on how long will it take before I need to add more on so I can progress.

    Umm curls, I'm surprised that's enough now, but something like 2 weeks, for presses, even with my insanely ****ed shoulder i need more than that

    when i was first starting , it lasted me about 2 weeks or so.. i was 15-16 i believe. i didnt end up buying more though , i just went for more reps/sets ( i only worked out at home then) now i've signed up to a gym .

    Strong retards in this thread, for curls about 2 weeks i'd say, presses i started on like 10 and worked up , I started at like 125 lbs , now 152.
    I'd say for presses though probably only a week or two. You will need more disc's soon bud.

    kai green is on gear, he can curl whatever the **** he wants and grow. If you are natty, you will have to curl a lot heavier down the line to get bigger

    You know he can military press 4 plates for reps right?

    The whole 'curling 20 lbs dumbells' and 'squatting 1 plate' things are just for appearances on youtube so they can promote products for lazy people, he doesn't actually train like that.

    Bench press: 315x4, 345x1
    Squat: 465x1
    Strict press: 185x8, 195x5, 215x1
