Question Going back the gym after time off...

    Hey guys,

Probably a dumb question but It is bugging me so I just have to ask.

So I havent been able to work out for the past 4 months going on 5 due to GAD, and inflammation in my ribcage that wont go away, heh. I dont care no more, I cant just sitback and watch everything i gained go down the toilet. Im ready to go back and hit the gym hard. and Yes I know, Diet is Key.

Question is since I lost about 8 lbs, muscle on my arms, chest shoulders...everything, it's very depressing... Would I be able to re-build the lost muscle at a quicker rate? or Is it gonna take time like when I first started?
