I ve tried just about every traing program out there. My calves are ripped and muscular, but not very big. I got tjem from 12" to 15" in 3 years, but now theyve stopped growing. Does anyone know of a good way to shock them back into growth?

walk up 6 floors of stairs using each step as a single leg calf raise.
Do this several times a day.
Do this with weight.
Do it alot."Arterial plaque is primarily composed of unsaturated fats particularly polyunsaturated ones." (Felton, C V, et al, Lancet, 1994, 344:1195)

Calves are probably the hardest muscle to grow.
What would be a good idea to do is to incorporate some things that you may have never done before.
For instance, if you have been going the low rep route say 6-8, it would be a good idea to go the high rep route say 12-15.
Things like that could be the difference.

Try all kinds of diffferent rep ranges. You could also try some strength shoes. I hear their great for your calves.

Stevo, great link! I think that will be the answer.
Atavis: Great idea. Unfortunetly I do not live in NYC anymore, and there are not ANY building over 2-3 stories around here.
Heart of Iron : I agree that variation is the key to all muscle growth, but especially calves! Check out Stevo's link. It taught me a couple things about the calf being compromised of more slow twitch muscles than most people realize.no sig
