Diet of non active person : please comment

    Hi guys,

So, I've been training in the past for 3 years but nowdays, I no longer train.

    My question is :

Which kind of diet a non active person who practised lifting for 3 years should follow ?

I'm 23 years old, 5.7 and 128 lbs. My bf is quite low approximately 8%.

I think my protein intake should stay quite high that is to say 1.8 gr per kilo, my carb intake moderate and fat intake quite low.

I do not lose my six pack and definition.

My current diet looks like that :

    Breakast :
    >2 egg whites
    >1/2 cup of cottage cheese
    >Crackers 100% whole rye (150 cal; 30 gr carbs, 7 gr fiber)
    >Fruit : 1/2 grapefruit or some berries

    Lunch :
    >3.5 oz meat (liver, lean beef 5%, chicken or turkey breast...)
    >150 cal of carbs (beans, pasta, brown rice...)
    >Endive salad with balsamic vinegar

    Mid afternoon Snack :
    >1 cup of cottage cheese
    >Crackers 100% whole rye (75 cal; 15gr carbs, 3.5 gr fiber)
    >1/2 apple

    Dinner :
    >3.5 oz of fish or lean meat
    >Fibrous veggies like brocoli, green beans,...
    >Endive salad with balsamic vinegar

    Midnight Snack :
    >1/2 cup of cottage cheese

Some people tell me I don't eat enough. Knowing I do not lose my abs and definition, I don't wanna eat too much.

What do you think about it ?
Which kind of diet do you guys advice to someone who no longer train ?

    Kind regards all.

I don't know why you don't train anymore, but that is not my business. Most folks atrophy due to poor diet when they lay off more than anything. They figure, not working out, no need to eat good protein, etc. Your diet to me looks excellent for someone not doing anything and wanting to stay lean and keep some muscle tone. But, at some point you will still run into catabolism, the body is very adept, and muscle is really an extra load for it to maintain. after a period of time, your body will still cannabalize muscle to meet its needs and "lighten" its load so to speak.
