i didn't mention size, you probably got me mixed up with another poster previous.
Again to all Platz fans, find me a picture of Platz legs of which are more shredded/cut than Coleman's.......lets compare first then come to a conclusion.
sidenote: nothing black and white please lol

Nope, notice I placed "---" between the message I addressed the second half to more to those who would debate size to begin with.
And, I think ROnnies are going to be more striated. Consider the chemical assistance of the new millenium.
As far as striations etc. all I can think of is this platz pic.

A little interesting about the "who's got the most cut legs". Bodybuilders of the 80s, I should argue, atleast visually had a lower bf than pros today. Atleast, they looked more cut and vascular.
As far as the quad goes, I think platz' inner legs might have been soft come contest, but the quad sweep and outer quad was definitely not.
Btw, how often do you see modern pros with abs like these?
This discussion is inevitably subjective. Mass alone, coleman wins, he does too in terms of arm/biceps mass over guys like Arnold and lat spread over dorian etc. the question is just, what do YOU like. The mass game doesn't do it for me. In terms of size I think it's been going the wrong way 1990 and onwards.
Now I simply like Platz's physique more, including the quads. They were landmark. I'll also take Arnold's "revolutionary" biceps peak over modern pros with similar and more impressive biceps. I like the 70s and 80s guys' approach to training, and who can think anything negative about Platz considering his extreme, masochist squat sessions and his amazing high-rep abilities?

Ummm, how has Jay Cutler fallen off the radar for best legs? I think he has the overall size of coleman, but the aesthetic appeal of Platz. I don't have the link, but the pics taken outdoors a few days prior to his Olympia victory are mindblowing. Can anyone post these?
Also, it depends on what you prefer for leg shape. I think Coleman has much more mass on the upper thighs. This may be because of his torn quad or specific leg training, who knows. Cutler's legs are a little more like Platz's, IMO, with more mass on the lower quads, more striations, and more of a blocky look to the leg, instead of tapered look.
