    pain in shoulder

    hi,

i feel a pain just behind my left shoulder whenever i bench press/shoulderpress. it is not a terrible piercing pain, it is more of a nuisance. i have started stretching after each workout to try to remedy this. i will also start working more on my rear delts, as they see no attention in my shoulder routine.

is there any extra advice anyone can give?

well aside from stretching, you should do rotator cuff exercises so u reduce the chance of injury. Also do a lot of warmup sets before actual work sets.

    Rotator Cuff exercises: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/criticalbench24.htm
Nice read on warmup sets: http://www.ironaddicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3404

Another thing you can do is check your grip, maybe widen/narrow it.

I had this pain also, nagging pain. After doing the above before every workout involving my arm movements, its practically gone.
