Alright, so I'll put up a link to my fitday.com journal and I'll post my meals in this log (and my other 2). I'll try and update fitday.com everyday, but no guareentee. I'll keep this log updated at least once a day.
Quick run down of my lifting history and current routine
I'll give a brief lifting history (mostly b/c I'm bored):
-Oct/Nov 2005 started lifting, only did upperbody and leg ext/leg curls
-Started logging in my logbook In mid January 2006
-Added squats/cleans/deadlifts to routine in April 2006 for a Biggest Loser contest
-Started to drift away from the 5x15 routine I was on for the contest, into lower reps
-Started to focus more on strength when I pulled 315 for the 1st time
-Found ********.com, this changed my training so much, besides starting to lift, single best thing to happen to me so far.
-Modified my routine and added some DC inspired ideas, mostly the warmup to 1-2 working sets, stretching and 20 rep squats.
-Still pushed for strength, finally got a 315 squat.
-November 06, starting thinking about switching to a more PL inspired routine
-Mid November, w/ the help of BigDman, switched to a WSB template.
-Never looked back.
My routine as of now:
Tuesday - DE Lower
Wednesday - Me Upper
Friday - ME Lower
Sunday - RE Upper
I'm currently going into Week 2 of a 4 week cycle for squats, w/ DE squats ranging from 50-65% of my 1RM for 10-12 sets of doubles and rotating in box squats on weeks 2-3 and weeks 1-4 are free squats for triples.
Also, my bench needs HELP fast. Well, its been gaining a bit recently, but its just so low in comparison to my other lifts. I know its partly because I'm built to deadlift and squat (medium lenght legs + short torso + long arms = awesome leverages).
videos of my so you can see form:
deadlift 405x2
YouTube - Deadlift 405x2
Bench 135x3 (side view)
YouTube - Bench 135x3
Bench 155x1 (front view)
YouTube - ME Bench 155
Squat 308x1
YouTube - Squat 140kg
I train for strength, so getting a pump is something I usually DON'T get, except on RE upper days. Also, my workouts are always different, so nothing is consistent (except being a BEAST). I'm interested to see how my legs will feel pumped.
Today will be an upperbody recovery/pre-hab/GPP/Grip. Probably will be doing some basic extensions, rotator cuff work, overhead work and static holds and work on my hook grip. Oh and maybe ill do some cable rowing with light weight (or the whole stack dependso n my feeling) and go for 100 reps (hey I'm bored aite?).
Wish me luck fellas! :yea:

I just took my first shake of it about 10 minutes ago. It looks like piss and the taste ain't to great. Its not horrible, mixes well though. If it was colder it might be better. Also I just noticed that there is creatine in it, so idk If I'll need my mono on top of it.

ewwwwwwwwwwwww

Recovery Push/RE Pull/Grip
So today, I got some news. I have patella tendonitis and my knee cap (patella) was out of the spot its supposed to be in. My chiro adjusted it and hopefully it will be fine in due time. I'm told not to squat unless I'm using knee wraps or a sleeve, anything to support it. I think I just won't do squats on Friday, but on Tuesday I'll do a simple 5x5 or 2x5 then 1x20 deal. All sets with wraps. And that will be it. just enough so I don't atrophy.
And me, not being able to do much leg work makes me ANGRY
So I took it out on my forearms and back.
Warmup :

Bench Press 45x10

Energy : 9/10
Focus : 9/10
SFW : 10/10 (SMASH ****ING WEIGHTS BABY)
Debrief:
Energy felt great coming in, forgot foam rolling oops I was just really mad today so I took it out on the weights. I went light on the push work, and it was EASY as hell. Good stuff, great pump. After pullups, my arm was almost unable to be straightened out. Love it. I really felt DB Rows in my lats. Never have before. Forearms were destroyed by pullups, then by Rows and then finally with the static holds and wrist rolls. Wrist rolls ROCK. I had a hard time with curls because my forearms were SO pumped!!!!! Felt pimp dropping the 100's after the holds.
Definitly enjoyed this workout. I feel like an effing bodybuilder with all these exercises Honestly, this weeks routine is going to be messed up anyhow, so I'll see what goes on. Maybe, if I have to (due to DOMs) move ME Bench to Thursday or so. Not really caring now haha. All I wanna do is Squat damnit!!!
WTF Pump'd gets :
Taste : 6/10
Mixability : 7/10
Effect : 10/10
Overall : 8/10
Overview: Taste could be better, but theres no aftertaste so thats awesome. Really sweet (b/c I had dextrose w/ itt). Mixability was great, except it left some really grainy stuff on the inside of my shaker.

hmm? the big one is BCAA's but the rest is from the WTF Pump'd.
Overall, first day of using it, GREAT workout. Made my day. I'll be posting my diet later on this evening.

there is no bicep day
I try to do russian arm bends (aka curls haha!! gotcha bitchs) once a week or so, just so my tricep doesn't overpower my bicep. My o-lifting friends do it, so I figure I should as well.
Oh, and before I forget FnF, thanks for this great opportunity to test out an ARLI product. Its my first ALRI product (I'm not a virgin anymore!!) as well as my first cycle of a NO type product. I'm really excited, especially after tonights light workout.

oh yeah, forgot to add :
I see a problem that could arise in the future. If my forearms get pumped from deadlifting (say DE or ME) and then I do cleans or front squats right after, then holding a clean grip is going to be painful.
Oh how I love pain.

Recovery Pull/RE Lower
Alright, so my biceps and back were sore as anything. So I did some stuff to get blood in there. Hindsight says I shouldn't have. I did squats w/ tight ass knee wraps on every set. What I'll do is, either do a ME Upper day on Thursday and take the rest off to recoup and relax and then start up with a M-T-F-S split again. If I'm not ready to bench on Thursday I'll skip it, I could use a good break so maybe!
Warmup:
2minutes on stationary bike
Stretching
Lat Pulldown w/ Wide Grip
3 sets of 70x15
Row Machine
3 sets of 65x15
Pullthroughs w/ light band
3 sets of 10
Squats (tight knee wraps, all sets)
45x10 (didn't hit depth on any rep)
135x5 (struggled with depth, hit it on 4th and 5th rep)
185x5 (didn't hit depth either time)
185x5 (hit depth on last rep)
185x5 (hit depth on 3rd rep on)
225x5 (got sick of having to really try for depth so upped the weight)
225x5 (w00t)
And that was it.
Energy : 8/10
Focus : 9/10
SFW : 9/10
Debrief:
Wrapping my knees myself takes so much out of me its crazy. Got crazy pumps in my biceps and forearms. They were hurting from DOMs and then even more with the pump!!! First time I've had my hammys pumped in a long long time. Felt interesting. Definitly felt the focus aspect of the WTF Pump'd, as my last set was intense as all hell. Intersting note: time felt like it slowed down during my squats, but felt sped up durin the pulldown and rows. I felt like I left a lot in the tank today (well really I did). I'm not used to doing only 1 lift for legs, so I'm not very happy with it. Hope it heals.
WTF Pump'd Review Day 2:
Tasted better today. Still left some stuff in my shaker, and it wasn't fizzy, but my dex/creatine shake PWO was fizzy and so was my WPI later on. Pumps were good today. DOMs was great as well. Never really felt my hammis so much from so little.

I've decided that since I'm on the injured list, I'm going to stop cutting and ramp up the calories, sleep, stretching, foam rolling, self-massages and other re-hab work. I think I'll add brown rice back in a bit, up oats in the morning to 1/2 cup and try and keep protein at 300g or so.
Not having fun with this effing knee problem. Upside is I get to focus on my upperbody more and maybe I can make some progress here if I concentrate on it more.

ME upper
Sooo, I had my physical today. I'm noting that this doctor is ok, but not great. He looked at my list of supps and the only thing he said was to watch out for rashes from the Valerian Root. Thats it, so that went well. I talked to him about my knee, he wasn't much of a help, only thing he offered was to 'strengthen my quad by holding the leg out for extended periods of time." I'm almost certain that the reason my knee is being a bitch is that my quad OVERPOWERED my hamstring or something to that effect. He also said he would like to see me under 190lbs as that would put me into the "Overweight" range on the BMI chart, as I am currently Obese. Thats bull****, if I'm obese, then what does that make the 300lb 5'3 dude who is constantly at Wal-Mart? I told him flat out that I don't really care so much for the weight, I'd like to see myself under 20% BF. I told him I'm doing powerlifting, and if I get accepted to FDU, that I'll be switching to Olympic lifting, but I doubt he caught that. He said I should cut my workouts down to 35-40minutes and do 20-30mins cardio. Sorry pal, but that ain't going to happen. I'll do 1hr max and then 20-30mins cardio. I got my papers for bloodwork, the normal stuff then also a test level check, if my insurance covers it (and they ****ing better). Also got a tetanus shot. Thought it was going to hurt like it did was I was little, but it didn't. I'm doing cardio everyday now until I lose what I think is enough, I'm sick of this ****.

5miles in 21:04, 24:04 total 5.5miles.
Energy : 7/10
Focus : 8/10
SFW : 6.5/10
Debrief:
Numbers look good, but I'm am NOT happy with this workout. My not using enough leg drive nor do I feel like I'm using any lat drive. Also, my lower back so super tight today. Not to mention my lats cramped up like nothing today, wtf. I really kinda had a bad day.
WTF Pump'd:
Pumps were good today, I was pumped after set #1, of just the bar. I think my lats were cramping b/c they were pumped (maybe I WAS using them). Cardio was decent. Not much focus, probably wore off after the hr of weights. Note: WTF was mixed in a plastic cup, no shaker I forgot it. never again will I forget, it was NASTY.

Bad News
Woke up this morning with an INTENSE pain in my right wrist. Felt like nothing I had felt before, I seriously thought I broke my wrist or fractured it. The pain was so intense I stood over the toilet for 20 mins just about ready to puke. I went to school and dropped off a project and came home to a doctors appointment, and at the appointment, the doctor made the pain hurt just like when I had tendinitis in my left wrist. Well, thats what it is.
So now, I'm wearing a splint on my right wrist, a knee brace on my right knee, and I'm super pissed off at myself for letting this happen. Now I can't do ANYTHING in the gym except cardio. I might be able to do some upperbody stuff if the pain subsides, as lifting helps tendinitis. Another thing, this was a different doctor from the one who saw me yesterday and who looked at my left arm when it had tendinitis. This lady said lifting is bad for it, while the other guy said lifting helps. Greeeeeat! If I can bench or anything on Friday, I'm doing it. I'm not even caring if its pl related, just something so I don't atrophy.
I'll continue taking WTF Pump'd when I do cardio, which will probably be everyday when I can.
This really sucks.

Alright, sorry for the lack of update, but Wednesday I was busy all day, out filming for my internship from 9-4, then editing til 11pm, and I finally went to bed at 2, woke up at 5 to deliver the DVD's, then had a final (which I aced) and then class's. ARGH, I was so beat I overslept today. Haven't done anything in the gym since last update, I need cardio but I've been way to busy. Good news is I haven't gained any weight.

Alright, so I haven't updated this in a LONG time. Heres the deal:
-Knee is still bugging me
-Right wrist is getting better, but still hurting
-Left Wrist's tendinitis (I had it a year ago from bowling) flared up somewhat
-Haven't had a chance to ice them at all this week, more on that later.
This whole week and last, have been weeks from HELL. My last "class" is Tuesday. All my finals are done, all projects done. Its been the most stressful 2 weeks I've had in years. And, accordingly, b/c I can't lift or even bike (hurts my knee, awful ain't it?) I have no stress relief and I got sick. I'm still fighting it, but it'll be gone tommorow. On top of the finals and projects up the ass, I did the Every 15 Minutes stat shoot jobs for my internship. Last wednesday we shot at Emmaus all day, then the next morning I woke up at 5 (got home @ 1, bed @ 2) to deliver DVD's of the shoot (that I picked up at 12:30 the night before). Same thing this week, except I got a bit more sleep Wednesday night, and went out to deliver DVD's and then went 40mins away to ANOTHER school to film the show for them. Woke up at 5 again today to deliver DVDs. I'm EXHAUSTED.
