1)I use it 2 times per day (morning, night).

2)No. Use the gel, as it is more user friendly, and dries fast.

Yes, same results compared to Cutting Gel for very little cost. Pulls water out of the outer layer of skin.
Don't use the cream, smells fishy.
    Use the Gel, smells better.

Cardio and situps should be your first priority before even thinking of Preparation H. The Prep H is merely something to fine-tune your abs' appearance, not a foundation. It is cardio and crunches that are the foundation. Supplements should "supplement", never replace, training and exercise.

    Cool.

Supplement wise, if not taking a fatburner yet, you can get Ripped Fuel caps pretty cheaply...or surf EBay; it's even cheaper there than in stores. Ditto on Xenadrine or Hydroxycut. Can't attest to Preparation H; I've never looked on EBay for that. *lol*

I had a couple of questions about the Preparation-H trick...

    1. How long does it take before you notice the effects? How long does it last?
    2. Can you use Lipoderm at night and Preparation-H on that area in the mornings and still achieve the effects of Lipoderm? (Ex. On the face, jawline)
    3. Do the "water holding" effects of topical Yohimbine serve any purpose?

I was actually pretty curious about #3 also...on your number 2 question...arne't you supposed to apply lipoderm twice a day, or are you just gonna do it once?

not that this helps but i e-mailed par last night because my girl is starting her lipoderm tomorrow, and also has prep h gel, and asked...
"be using PreperationH gel to get rid of water retention....should this only be used once done with the cycle or can she use it once a week or how would you recommend she go about that? "

    and he replied:
"I have never looked into prep-H, but you could probably use it every other day or something"

Thanks JON! I think this is probably a difficult question to answer as it might require some experimentation.

I have been using Lipoderm on my "trouble spots" 8 squirts twice a day, however, tonight I tried it under my chin and around my jawline. I have noticeable water retention on the other areas I applied Lipoderm and I wanted to use it on my face without having to deal with the water retention issue. I figured maybe I could use Lipoderm at night and Preparation-H in the morning...just a thought.

    Any Help...???

    OVR,

Nice to talk to you again. On an overall basis, I would use the Prep-H only for post-cycle use, however for the manner in which you wish to use it on your face, I gather that you can do this if you wish (in the manner that you specified). Just as long as you are applying the Prep-H at a different time of the day (as you would--morning/night). The Gel has the anstringent Witch Hazel, so perhaps that may affect penetration of the Lipo if applied in a period with which the Lipo was applied as well. I do not know, so play it safe

As far as the water retention issue goes, it is not intra-muscular retention, so no (as far as I can tell), it will serve no purpose (and I gather that you made mention of that question in a ergogenic regard). Somewhat like a sodium bloat. When Yohimbine hcl is take orally, I have read that it may secrete an anti-diuretic hormone from the Pituitary, but I do not recall them ever being certain of that (as to how this was done, and to what hormone was involved).

As far as your other points of mention, that effects can be seen in a relatively short period of time depending on how much water your skin is holding. The Phenylephrine hcl will draw out some of the water, and the Witch Hazel (in the Gel, and you should use the Gel), will "pucker" up the skin. As far as the duration,I do not know. I never tracked that but I would gather that this is dependant on your diet (Sodium, etc). Perhaps several hours (piss in the dark estimate).

As Par said, you can use it whenever after a cycle as I used to use it 2 times each day (for however long that I wished to use it). There is no harm in that regard (long term) that I can see. If this is used during a Lipo cycle then again you have to take it at a different time, perhaps every other day if bloating is bad (for overall use) and you can do alternate day/night- -Lipo/Prep-H applications on your face (since bloating on your face is not as cosmetically tolerable as bloating on your stomach; have to keep the GQ look ).

Thank you Dante...as always thorough and thoughtful. I appreciate it. My visits to the board are short and inconsistent as I have been home once in the past 2wks. I have one more week to go and I'll be finished with exams, but for now the pressure is on and the stress is eating me alive...muscle and all! I feel like a bag of **** but I must press on...1 more week, 2 more exams.

Thanks again and I'll talk to you soon. I picked up a bottle of Preparation-H gel today. I'll only use it on my face, per my aforementioned method of morning/night administration.

Well I've done the Lipoderm at night / Preparation-H gel in the morning (around my jawline) thing for two days now. It should be too early to see any "fatburning" or "adipose tissue release" from the Lipoderm, however shortly after I apply the Preparation-H there is a noticeable difference. My little "under-chin" is not as visible and my face actually appears thinner. Either the Lipoderm is working already and the Preparation-H is doing a good job reducing the water, or maybe I just carry water under my chin??? Regardless, I will continue this method of application for 2wks and see if it continues to improve.

I am waiting to use the Prep-H on my midsection until I have used Lipoderm consistently for at least 3wks. Hoping for a noticeable surprise.

BTW, since I'm in the midst of finals I haven't bee able to lift or do any cardio, however I have "severely" restricted my calories and I've been taking Adipo 3x a day.

    OVR,

Glad that things are working out for you Not only has Prep-H been used by bodybuilders, but it has been used by Models and Housewife's as well. If you have bags under your eyes (lack of sleep, etc..), this can be used in those regards.

Also, it is nice to know that a Rational Lawyer will be unleashed into the World in due time. You will come in handy, for the future

I've just finished a bulking cycle and I'm thinking of using prep-h to get rid of some of the water retention. My face seems to get quite bloated when I bulk, so could I use it to get rid of some the water off my cheeks/jawline?

    Thanks

Yep Yep could help. Give it a try its cheap so its worth it. Remember to get the gel and not the cream.

Doesnt Preparation H only work for a few hours, making it ideal to use before a competition. I don't think it gives you a permanent defined look...
