Question How do you cook rice in bulk (and still taste ok)?

I'd like to start eating some brown rice every day, but I only want to cook it once a week. How can I do this efficiently??

I'll have to check out these "rice cookers". Think Walmart has something like that?

So you guys say that rice only stays good for a couple days? Then I suppose it gets mushy?

I just ate some rice that was about a week old and not cooked right at all (it was my first attempt at cooking it!), but it still tasted good.

Steamer. I cook up about 6 cups of brown rice, separate it, put it into ziploc baggies and freeze. Plop in the microwave for about 2 minutes and it taste as good as when it was freshly steamed.

Rice cookers work well. I like to mix 1c rice with about 2-3c water. Also, mix in some beef bullion or something. It gives it some flavor. I normally make enough to last a week and the only think you have to do is keep adding water and keep it cool, or it turns into a brick of glue.
