Pretty lean and balanced at 9 week point. Should do well. Good luck in the show. I'm a part time posing consultant, so holler if you want help or advice.

I may do that!! I actually just got through posing for 15 minutes tonight....whew, what a workout when you are new to it!! I pose 15 min post workout in the am and the 15 min at night. I'm getting leaner, but still some ways to go. Just gotta zone in on the diet and up the cardio in another week or so.
Thanks...

you are in great shape for nine weeks out. you should definetly try to hook up with someone to work on your presentation so that you can show your physique better.

Lookin' good. Nice horseshoe tricep. You look pretty well balanced.
GSOGymrat thanks!! I've always had decent tri's, that has been a better part for me. I actually don't train them as hard as I do some other body parts, but they just have some good shape to them.

wow man really good for 9 weeks out! your hamstrings are awsome...it takes me forever to get mine to show. the only thing i can say is play around some more with the lat spread and try to get a pose down where theres not a lot of wrinckles in your lower back. i know a lot of it has to do with water but thats just a hint of what the the judges look to when nit picking people appart. keep it up!

Look good just try to keep your shoulders level on your side chest. In my first show last year my posing lacked and I got 4th. A month later with alot of practice I won my class. Posing and presentation makes all the difference.

Thanks man, all the advice is well taken. I am working on my posing everyday and getting better. Your before and after pics are a killer. I was 232 in December of 05 and took until now to get where I am at. My problem is my lower stomach...alot of stretched skin. My diet is perfect, but that part is taking it's sweet time to get right. How did you get yours to tighten up?

The lat spread is the hardest for me. My lats are not wide enought right now for one and I have a hard time getting them to spread out in the front lat spread.
Thanks for the advice, I will definetely add that to my posing practice.

I wear my " fat belt " ( but I believe they sell it as a water belt ) duting cardio and during my workouts. They have them at wal mart for like 4.99. Look in the fitness section of the store, these belts make your mid section sweat like a mofo.
