Recovery time from minor injuries
I don't know exactly what stress fractures are or what they feel like, but at one point my forearms and calves hurt so much, I could not walk properly without looking like there was something very large up my bum, or even brush my teeth because my forearm hurt so much and shaking, I could hardly grip it! But the pain went away after a month or so, and it felt safe to work out again. I could not work out during this time because my forearms supported all the workouts I did, and I could not grab any dumbbells or barbells with no grip strength. Same with my calves, I could not even stand properly to do squats. Now, of course after a month I am much weaker, and I don't expect to lift the same weights I did a month earlier...but now that this pain has resided, do you figure it's okay for me to start working out again? I don't feel any pain while lifting anymore. But sometimes the fact that I can't lift much seems to me that my muscles have not fully recovered yet and not just that it's from 1 month of not working out. Safe to lift or no?
