Rebuilding a country from thousands of miles away, so called 'nation building' is kind of a ridiculous idea. It doesn't work that simply. The people who are doing such so called nation building aren't going to care how good of a job is done, how much money is wasted because it's not their own country. Furthermore, they aren't accountable for the work like they would be in their own country. I'm not surprised that the money, along with US taxpayers' money is disappearing like a rabbit at a magician's show. The well being of the US's economy will suffer for such wastefulness. Corruption and plundering of cash in war- ahh, history does repeat itself.
