    Forearm Pain

I started working out again. I did 2 sets of 12 curls on the curl machine. I only used 25LB's of weight. I came home it was fine, no pain. I woke up today and the pain was pretty bad. I can't fully straighten my arm, because there is pain on the innerside of my forearm right below the elbow. I tried stretching it a bit and massaging it with my left hand, it helped a little. I also took some Advil.

What else can I do? My other arm is a bit sore, but not as bad as this. I believe this was caused by picking the bar up inititally after resting my arms on the pad.

Does anyone have any recommendations on making the pain go away or recovering faster?

I recently started working out, and after going to the gym for the first time in my life and pushing myself pretty hard I had something similar the next day. I felt like there was something really tight in my forearm and when I would try to straighten it there was a pulling feeling that was pretty painful. I thought I damaged something, but after two days it felt normal again and I was able to work out. It has not happened again either.

Ya, thing is I didn't push it. This will sound wierd, but I always seem to hurt myself like putting weights away or getting setup. I put stuff down to fast or what not.

deep tissue massage on the forearm
Bodybuilding is all about image not numbers, when you're up on stage your lifting stats and bodyfat % means nothing to the judges.
