    Eating raw eggs

    Anyone eat raw egg whites? What about eating whole raw eggs, yolk and all? I was thinking about downing 8-12 raw eggs every morning, and just wanted to get some of your opinions. What are the chances of getting salmonella? How much protein is in 12 raw eggs? Thanks

    bad idea eating them raw

    6 grams protien per egg

    3 in yolk, 3 in white

    eggs also have 6 grams fat per egg

    72 grams protien, 72 grams fat, 1080 calories

    that is way too much fat, 70 grams fat is enough for a whole day

    why not just hard boil them?

    Mainly because of time constraints (classes). I guess it would be better to hard boil them from some of the threads I've just read. I'm glad I found out that protein from cooked eggs is 90.5% digestable and protein from raw eggs is 50% digestable. Saved me from eating something really nasty.

    I think I'll hard boil eggs, pop out the yolk, and save them in the fridge. I'll eat 10 of the hard boiled whites in one sitting. (maybe a few yolks as well)

    so every other day..when u have time..hard boil as many eggs as u can..they dotn go bad right away...ive eaten hard boil eggs after like a week of them being out...during easter...when they put those eggs in the bread..i dunno if u know what im talking about..but its ok to eat them after a while..so just cook as many as u can ..then save them for future use...

    you can also scramble your egg whites as well, , 2 yolks for every 5-6 whites...Food for thought
