NOW Carbo Gain

I just recieved my Carbo Gain and I just want to make sure I am taking in enough post workout. It says 1/2 cup has 47g of carbs. Should I take 1/2 cup or 1 full cup. 1 cup seems like alot when i put it in the shake bottle along w/ my 2 scoops of whey.

It's a complex carb that has a GI as high as a simple sugar. In my PWO shake, I get 60g carbs. Most recommendations are for 20-40g protein and 40-80g carbs PWO depending on bodyweight. I believe most shoot for .4g/kg of protein and .8g/kg in carbs. However much you choose, shoot for around a 2-to-1 carb-to-protein ratio for bulking or maintaining, and a 1-to-1 for cutting.
