    15 years old, squatted 300 today

    hey guys, i'm 15 6'0" 180 and squatted 300 today, I'm gonna go for 315 on friday and will try and have it videoed and post it if i get it, anyways, i'm pretty happy with myself. Also am trying for a 225 power clean and will post that too.

    i wouldnt max out again on friday though.

    i got for my last 2 sets yesterday:

    315x4 then
    325x4

    Geesh....I feel like a frichen twig now...I'm turning 16 soon and I just learned how to do a squat perfectly...Hopefully though with my slightly impressive leg press, I can do 10 reps, 5 sets, with 4 plates on each side sometimes with two 25's if I'm up to it, I'll be able to up the weight to 300 before the month ends......Right now I can do 2 sets back to back of 10 with a plate on each side.

    Your not going to get 300 by the end of the month maybee 225 if your lucky, and leg press has no correlation to your squat.

    True, but luckily I've been getting insane gains since I've started, my curl, military, leg press ect. Have jumped say 5,10,25 pounds every week or so.

    good job. yea i wouldnt max again that soon. just let your body heal up a little bit. im going for 375 in a few weeks ( i hope)
