    Thumbs up chicken and broccoli/carbs?

    First whole meal 2 hrs after post shake. 6oz chicken, 2 cups broccoli. 320 cals, 54g protien, 24g carbs, 4g fat. Should i add in some oats or are the carbs from the broccoli sufficent?

    Why?

    I'm not debating you, I just want to know why you feel this is neccessary.





    I often workout later in the day after eating 3 carb/protein meals so post workout I consume fast digesting carbs with protein and then my next meal will often have very little carbs, sometimes only veggies like broccoli.
    Cutting - 6' 3" - 28 yrs
    Jan 10th - 219 lbs (end of winter dirty bulk)
    July 30th - 192lbs - Approx 9% bf

    even though veggies have carbs, most are fiber, which don't count as true carbs.. the only veggies off the top of my head that have true carbs are potatoes, carrots (minimal), i dont know.. very few.. go with the oats or something clean like that, but more than just brocolli..
