    getting paper thin skin

    hello everyone..
I worked hard over the past 6-8 months to drop fat levels from 20-23% to what I am now, about 11%BF. I can clearly see my 6 pack and almost the 4th row of abs is about to be seen. however I am still not happy. I hate to see all the pro bodybuilders with like PAPER THIN skin. No matter how much I do cardio or how good I plan my diet, I still do not seem to be able to thin my skin so that I can see the veins, abs and every fiber in my muscles without having to flex them. How is this possible??

I am not in a hurry but by summer, I really would love to have a body like this.

pros have paper thin skin because they take dieuretics among other things. if you can see your abs, great job! no need to try to replicate what the pros do unless you want to take a bunch of meds.

What are "dieuretics" exactly? are these another type of supplements or special medication or something? thanks

ummm your gonna have to get way below 11% if you wanna see fibers

    around 5% for that

if you get to like 3% body fat u will be able to see your whole anatomy, but errr it can get pretty unhealthy for you at that point

I think one person should be able to hold 7-8%BF all around the year. I am not a hardcore bodybuilder I just want to stay in good shape with low BF thats all..

anyway.. how I dropped form 23% to 11%BF in 6-7 months? running running running like hell everday and using fat burners. I am not sure if they did the magic or not.. but I ran like hell almost 5 days a week. I started with 20 min sessions and ended up doing full 75 min on treadmill for 8-9 miles!! Believe me you can drop by 20lbs in 4-6 weeks only. But this is completely unhealthy.

Not only I dropped BF, I also lost a lot of muscle because I was unaware of proper nutrition. I lost soo much volume that my shoulders and even my hands got narrower than before. Usually when you drop weight, you loose from waist size hips and cheast but I lost a whole body volume. so dont do this mistake.

yeah u can keep 7-8% body fat year round no prob

but for ultra low body fats it gets much harder, I have to watch my diet pretty closely to get below 7%

but competition bodybuilders get to the 4% range with virtually no water retention and that cannot be maintained easly + having such low water levels is very very dangerious

I know a few people who maintain around a 5% body fat comp pretty much all the time, they are both sprinters and don't really watch there diet, but if your training like them year round its impossbile to keep weight on

Yea, I'm currently working on getting my BF% down to around 10-11%

I figure I'm at 14-15% right now, I can see the upper 4 ab outlines relaxed sometimes, it all depends on the day.........

I do 3 days of cardio a week that are 30 mins long, I'm thinking about extending them to 45 min.....

I do 4 days of pretty intense lifting......I feel like I burn more on these days....

u can try reducicng your sodium intake drastically for a few days while drinking heavy amounts of water. Then drink lil water while on low sodium. Caution this whole process should only be done for at most one week, cuz low sodium can be dangerous too. Try it if you're curious, and listen to yur body.
