Trained too hard - felt very sick - still not well after few hrs - any suggestions?
Well, I hit it hard at the gym this morning, maybe a lil too hard. Felt extremely nauseous and light-headed after training, had to lay down for half an hour, then sort of felt better and went to work. It's been a few hours now, but I'm still not 100% well.
What are the best ways to recover from this quicker?

Eat. Little here and there to boost your body. I'd start off with something small like fruit/veg. At least it will put something back into you.

If you still feel nauseous take it easy.
Other than that try to eat/drink and stretch.

Lol I feel like throwing up after a heavy leg session. I get an extremely discomforting feeling in my stomach and I have to sit down and stare at the ground while deep breathing.

Eating lightly, drinking lots of water. Tried stretching, but too much movement makes me nauseous again.
Damn, I had so much energy this morning, it felt like the best training session ever.

x2 and it's the leg press that starts it, not squats for me.

Drink heaps of water and take a day off. Next time move up your training in smaller intervals. If the problem continues, see a doctor as it might be the symptoms of something else.
Also, if you're not taking a multi vit, try it for a while and see if it makes a difference.

Ate a banana, had a bit of electrolytes + aminos, lots of water. I think the blad from the muscles doesn't want to get back to the brain and other organs
Going to try some sleep.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions!

see a doctor - it could be anything. I mean it might not be related to your training.
If you can't see doctor, then as people have said, eat a little, drink lots of water, sleep.
