yea, but i don't see why. most who use it do because of wrist problems; but wrist problems indicate a grip that's too close (i.e., one that isn't shoulder width)
Keep a COMFORTABLE close grip, usually slightly inside shoulder width.
Like it's been said, Tuck your elbows. If you can, your elbows should graze your lats when u come down (or rib cage slightly when u come up). Also, there should be VERY little wrist pain (assuming no prior injuries).
Bump to the "6 inches..." this and that nonsense. a "close grip" for a guy who's 5'6'' 150lbs is different than for a guy 6'3 240lbs.
