Do you enjoy lifting?
This is a question for anyone to answer. Do all of you guys enjoy your lifting or is it just a means to an end. When I first started lifting I loved it and I used to hate going home from the gym. I wanted to stay all day! But now after 4 years I'm finding myself wanting to get in and get out of the gym. Even though I can lift heavier with better form, I see lifting as a more of a means to an end and not something I necessarily enjoy. Not that I don't enjoy it, it just seems like more of a chore for me, something I have to do to keep this physique, rather than something I just enjoy for the hell of it. Anyone else feel this way?

i looovvvvve being at the gym. it's like everything stops for an hour or an hour and a half, and you just get in the zone, and nothing changes. you come back every day and its the same. lots of steel, lots of people, everything looks the same.
you leave all your stresses and tiredness at the door, and just do your ****.

I personally really enjoy it, knowing that you are working up to getting bigger and stronger. Plus you can eat a bunch of food.

I love it. It's becoming addicting.
Not to mention that it's my only form of exercise besides basketball.

Lifting for two hours straight would be more detrimental than beneficial... To each his own though, if your doing it for enjoyement rather than competing then go for it man.

Going to the gym is definitly the highlight of my day. I enjoy chillin with friends, partying, and stuff like that too. But theres no better feeling than a good workout and knowing you're bettering yourself and staying healthy. I could go on for a long time about how much I enjoy it. But i'll just keep it short.

Well, then lets just say that if I stopped going to the gym, all that stress would go somewhere else, and probably not anywhere good!

I love it when I'm doing it, but I suck. I am always being distracted so when I lift, I have to go to a room with just weights and leave my phone off or something.
