If you got dumped, google and read: "Lushka16's guide to getting dumped and taking it like a champ."
The long and short of it is: sever all contact with her. Focus on yourself. There is no going back, the relationship is dead. And don't beat yourself up for feeling bad - focus on what you want from your next relationship.
Good luck OP.

As others have said, it *starts* to go away once you find another.
One thing that i've always found helpful is the "out of sight, out of mind" mindset. Block, erase, etc from all social media so you dont have a constant influx of her coming at you everyday. Also recommend deleting texts, DMs, and what not from your phone as well.
Not saying to go "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" on her, but the social media part really helps.Goodbye fried rice, hello fried chicken!

never forget that YOU are the source of all your feelings. Dat sloot you are obsessing over is not emitting any particles and chit - you are just letting yourself feel all those feels and keeping them alive.

Bro, I was driving 2 hours north 6 times a year just hoping to see her in my friends circle. We even ended up reconnecting for a 2 month period of sex and wild times......professed my love.....she told me she would never feel that way about me.....
the end.
The answer to your question quoted above is yes.(っ◕‿◕)っ

You can get over any girl if you really wanted to. It takes time obviously because we can’t turn our emotions on and off. However when you begin the process of trying to get over a girl you have to really mean it. You have to sit down and tell yourself you no longer want her and mean it. You have to be able to not return her messages or calls if she ever reaches out to you even if you still love her.
Look op, you don’t need another girl to over a girl. It definitely helps but you don’t need another girl for it. Back in 2015 this chick I was crazy about dropped me and got with a mutual friend. It was torture. In 2015 I barely knew how to get girls. She ended things in January. I didn’t get over her until June. In that time I didn’t even kiss a girl. But I made a decision I wanted nothing to do with her. She texted me that May. I saw the message and just deleted it and acted like it never happened. She was more hung up on it then I was for the following 2 years. She cried drunkenly about it in front of me several times. She even came up to me several times and asked if I hated her. I told her nope. You will be fine Bruh.
