does whey protien go bad like regular food?

i stopped taking it for awhile now whenever i take it lately i been getting stomach cramps. Should i toss it out and has it gone bad. Or do powders not go bad and my stomach is reacting weird to it for another reason?

has it expired? there should be a date at the bottle "best before end:.../...

Once you open it, it will go bad after a while. I'm not exactly sure how long it takes, but the reason for it is the exposure to oxygen. The expiration date is only for as long as the product is sealed.
