I don't know about upper arm or chest stretch marks (which I assume is the problem most of you are having) but I know I use Avon's Refine (yep, avon) and it has worked for my baby-making stretch marks. My friend just had a baby in June and she's been using it a month and has noticed a huge difference. And it's cheap.

I just posted this somewhere else...

I'm new here....just checking thing out. Seems everyone is on to the same things I am. I just posted this somewhere else...but I like this stuff so herre it goes again. As far as stretch marks go...I tried Trilastin - but it didn't work on my bad ones...so I'm using this new stuff AlphaDerma CE from jansonbeckett. It kicks butt and my girl is using it to on her stretchmarks from having our baby. Works great, but costs a fortune. So if anyone knows of something as good for cheaper let me know.

    Thumbs up revitol

this stuff fadded and shrunk my strech marks big time. Its 59.99 for a tiny bottle. (2 fl/ 59 ml) I had a huge area to cover including my legs innner and outer thighs, stomach, back of knees and calves, and butt. (gained 60 lbs with each preg).
When i started using this my strech marks where deep and purple red. They are turning silver not as deep, wide or long. You rub it in after shower (comp. dry off) stand there nude for five min to let it dry. Take before and after pics. Ive used it since feb (3 bottles) A lot of $$. But worth it to me. If you only have one area or body part it will last longer.

This is how I removed my stretch marks. 80% gone now. It works.

This is the only way I was able to cure my stretch marks. I bought a roller kit here at ebay and used STRIPEPTIN cream at the same time.

Here is some more info. Hope this helps.

subcision(needling) often helps on depressed and pitted scars

The needles injure the upper 1-2 mm of the dermis. This injury, minute as it might seem, does cause localized damage and bleeding. This will promote the normal post-traumatic infiltration of fibroblasts and the release of growth factors.
Ultimately, collagen is laid down in the papillary and upper reticular dermis.
This results in confluent collagen production stimulation and deposition, and as a result, may mimic the results obtained with laser, dermabrasion or deep chemical peels, but without destroying the epidermis.
Skin Needling also perforates and softens fibrous scar tissue, enabling the deposition of new collagen
The new collagen fills depressed scars from the bottom up, lifting the scars so that they are level with the surrounding skin. In some cases it is possible to repigment hypo-pigmented scars.

Subcision is a process created for atrophic scars, using fat and other substances to fill up the depression under the scar so that it becomes level. Subcision can also involve the separation of skin tissue from the scar tissue to allow blood to pool, eventually forming connective tissue and raising the scar up. Both these processes are always done by licensed professionals, and the patient may be under either local or general anesthesia, on an outpatient basis.

    Subcision
Subcision is a common procedure to treat fibrotic scars. The base of the fibrotic scar (at the dermal layer) is normally anchored by fibrous bands. Subcision releases this fibrous band and reduces the depth of the fibrotic scar.

Effects of surgical scar revision include swelling and bruising, and patients may take up to a week or two to recover, depending on the procedure, size and depth of treatment, and on the patient themselves

Subcision?: a surgical technique in which the fibrous band under the scar is divided, allowing the skin to return to its normal position
releases subcutaneous fibrotic strands that tether the overlying tissue
Medical needling is a physician-performed medical procedure that has created great interest in the cosmetic community because of its efficacy, minimal downtime, ease of use, costs and patient satisfaction. It has been used successfully to treat fine lines wrinkles, lax and photo-damaged skin; to reduce the appearance of stretch marks; and to improve acne, post burn and ice pick scars. It has also been used after liposuction to tighten skin.

VITAMIN C SUPPLEMENT (1000 mg Daily internally) :

Increases collagen but not other necessary skin proteins
A good anti-oxidant, natural skin component

EXFOLIATING 2 Weeks After Needling Session:

Helps removes older skin and allow new skin to rise to surface

The medical needling instrument, a sterile roller with needles all around, is rolled across the skin, which causes thousands of micro wounds. These minute injuries to the dermis result in the start of the wound-healing cascade. The punctures begin the wound-healing cascade, which causes the body to produce its own collagen

It is the body?s own collagen production that results in tightened skins less fine lines and wrinkles and a softening and reduction in scarring.
five days alter the injury to the dermis, a fibronectin matrix is laid down along with collagen. This collagen is deposited in the upper dermis just below the epidermis? basal layer.

WHAT COPPER PEPTIDES DO IN COMBINATION WITH NEEDLING:

Helps synthesis of new collagen, elastin, and water holding proteins
    Rebuilds microcirculation
Antiinflammatory - Blocks Interleukin-1 and TGF-beta-1 and detoxifies free radicals

these vitamins improve the overall skin function and result in thicker, smoother skin. Cellular structures improve the overall skin function and result in thicker, smoother skin. Cellular structures become better organi2.ecL are more effectively bound together and more evenly distributed, which results in dramatically strengthened glycosaminoglycans and intercellular lipids. Fibroblast functionality improves along with increased collagen and elastin. Simply put, use of these vitamins, polypeptides and growth factors, pre- and post-procedure, yield improved and longer-lasting results
skin becomes thicker with more than a 400-percent increase in collagen deposition

    AFTER NEEDLING:

One cannot stress how important it is that patients know how to take care of their skin in the first 72 hours post needling.
the surface of the skin feels dry and can even feel rough for the first few days
    keep the skin hydrated
gently wash with a cleanser containing tea tree oil
application of appropriate creams and enriched vitamin A C and E oils arc vital

Get JOJO E for best stretch mark treatment

Good News!! I had body building stretch marks and my wife had pregnancy stretch marks. We used this product http://www.stretchmarktreatment.net and it worked. I have tried so many products and treatments but none really worked. Believe me, this is not marketing talk, I genuinely want to share this information with you guys. I won't make a cent out of this. They have very limited production and eventhough I cannot vouch whether it will work for every single person, it is definitely worth a try. Very reasonable pricing. Best thing, its 30 days money back guarantee!

Yeah, I have heard alot about miracle creams, but there are two types of stretch marks. The deeper ones can not be repaired with any cream. So if you dont believe me, make sure what ever you buy comes with a money back garauntee

If you can rub your finger over them and feel them, they are deep. Otherwise if they are more superficial you can shrink them with some creams (like strivectin) but they will only be minimized, never gone.

Laser is another way to go, and it can range from 1,800 - 5,000 depending on the location. However if the area is large (like stomach, hips) a doctor will tell you the laser might not work and recommend a tummy tuck or alt. surgery.

    hope it helps

anyway, to prevent stretch marks, I've heard vitamin E cream is a good thing to apply. only to prevent, not cure. so regularly apply vitamin E cream.

I'd hate to come across as advertising, but you may want to check out Java Lather and Flawless from RPN, we've had some pretty good reviews and results by bb.com forum members - helping to treat scars and stretchmarks.

Hi, i have been trying the Jean Wu method for like 6 weeks now. It is time consuming, but a cheaper way of approaching stretch marks. I am noticing that the stretch marks are fading some so i'm going to keep doing it. I thought about a tummy tuck to get rid of the higher ones, but its really costly. Here is the site if you want more info http://stretchmarkcure.com/

No, i'm not advertising, just providing info. Good luck!

anyway, to prevent stretch marks, I've heard vitamin E cream is a good thing to apply. only to prevent, not cure. so regularly apply vitamin E cream.
    Hey giggs88,

it's not advertising...trust me, i've tried this product and it really works. why did u think it is ****ing advertising? Have u tried it? Sure Not. so try it first before you make any comment. Anyway, apart from Vitamin E, you would need Vitamin A,B,C and Zinc to ensure your stretch marks appearance can be reduced. but, more effectively, you need a good prduct to help reduce and finally remove your stretch marks. that's why i recommend everyone to use Jojo E COncentrate.
