I don't like to get "jacked" before games. I usually just try and calm myself down and conserve energy, I'm not a vocal player. I like to save all energy and then explode when the play/race starts.

Depending on what I'm doing, I'll either listen to some angry rap (I hate rap, but that adds to the effect ) or some classical. For football I like to be pumped up, but in track it seems essential for me to be as relaxed as possible.

Thats pretty immature buddy. Just becuase he doesn't listen to rap and heavy metal does not mean he is "gay". While I don't listen to B2M to get pumped up before a game, I do think they are talented artists, really like their rendition of "in the still of the night".

Since baseball is a thinking man's game, I don't feel the need to get "jacked up", but rather clear my head and think about the game. So its Ben Folds and Coldplay for me.

if its football then anything hard will work for me,
50, Godsmack, Linkin Park, Evanescence, POD, Trapt, Lil John and the East Side Boys especially Get Low lol.

For track your probably gonna want to be relaxed in actuality
I like Creed or usually some R n B before meets.

i like to listen 2 three 6 mafia, or scarface before games. sometimes ugk, some ludacris (only from the first 2 major label cds)... the best one for me would be "destruction terror" by three 6 mafia. see if you can find it, you gotta admit, it is one hell of a hard hitting beat. i dont really like rock, so i dont listen 2 that to get pumped up... i like to listen 2 southern gangsta rap anyway, so its not like its a major departure from normal. lets just say you dont want 2 be around me most of the day... lol
