big girl calves
hey wts up. I saw this girl todayy standing at 5'10 or so with at least had to be 17 inch calves and big quads. Thats pretty big because the girl was kinda thin up top but she had big calves and legs .can someone please explain this? is it in the genes?

I know of SOME genetic "diseases" where people are prone to large legs, but I am sure she did not suffer from that. I DO think calves for the most part are genetic. Mine are 16", i am 5'4" and I NEVER do calves.

Women have the same capacity for lower body strength and muscle mass as men do. I've seen women power lifters with massive legs squat/deadlift 500+ lbs, and that was just in my collegiate team. I'm sure the top female powerlifters can lift much more.

I know you mean well Kane, but all you ever ask for around here is pics of our butts! I for one would appreciate it if you stopped doing so.

But of course! Either that or a combination of factors, those being genetics and whatever sport she may be involved in. Genetically I've always had a much bigger lower body than my upper body and then when I started speed skating that just added to it. So I had to work hard, almost 3 years of heavy weight training, to build up my upper body to MATCH my bigger, more muscular lower body.
It's actually very common for females to have bigger, more muscular lower bodies (hips, thighs, buttox, calves) than their upper bodies, it's a common body type in women.

Girl you look GREAT! Most excellent! You have a very nice amount of muscle mass and you are definitely NOT fat! I mean I realize you have to be leaner to compete but you should be dang proud of yourself cause you really do look fantastic. And you even have a pretty face to go along with that excellent physique! Congratulations on all your hard work! Don't let this competition shake you, competition or no competition remember that you look awesome regardless! Great job indeed!

Irongirl25, your legs and butt are just awesome! Your arms, back and shoulders are looking good too. Great shape and mass, also very sexy. How big are your arms, they look huge?
