Is it Ok to do Max-OT style on keto?

I'm just wondering if it is ok to do Max-OT style of training while on Keto? or should tweak it a little bit? (workout - 4 days a week)

I'm also doing kickboxing 4x a week.

Alot of guys use Max-OT on keto. I did, and found it to be perfectly suited for such a diet. Well, a CKD/TKD diet, not a pure Atkins-style keto that is. The only thing I tweaked in Max-OT was to add some cardio after some of my workouts. I got great results-lost about 23 lbs. with minimal muscle loss.

Sure.
  • Each workout should last approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Train only 1 or 2 muscle groups per workout/day.
  • Do 6 to 9 total heavy sets per muscle group.
  • Do 4 to 6 reps per set.
  • Rest 2 to 3 minutes between sets.
  • Train each muscle group once every 5 to 7 days.
  • Take a 1 week break from training every 8 to 10 weeks.

Thanks...

I love Max-OT and will follow your advise and throw in some cardio to my workouts. btw, How did you split your workouts? Is a 5-day workout still OK?

Perfect!

Have another question...

Can I add dextrose to my protein after cardio training? I usually do intense cario 4x (20-min) a week at night while max-OT training in the afternoon... So it means I have to take 2 post workout drink with dextrose. or is 2 (30g dextrose) way too much?
