its done on a machine ..... like there are flies for chest, you have a machine that allows you to do the movment in the opposite dierection, which works on your rear delts.

I always do seated rear laterals.

Wide cable rows, dumbbell rows, bent over barbell rows, etc…

Are you talking about when you use the leather handle things, I like those as well, feel it in my rear delts more than bent over rear laterals. ONly problem is when you try to go heavy, its hard to keep good form because its a really small muscle , kind of like how kick backs feel good on your triceps, but they are hard to go heavy on.

I'll throw one out..take an incline bench, lower it to around 30 or so degrees (experiment to see what feels right)..kneel on the seatpad facing the back pad...perform rear lateral. I really like this one.

edit: I forgot..another thing that really help my reardelt area is doing rotation movements for my shoulders...helps prevent injury and supports strength also.

    Re: facepulls

The way I do facepulls is on a cable machine with an adjustable pulley height. Set the pulley so it's in line with the shoulders, and use a rope attachment. Grab the ends of the rope with an overhand grip and lean back. The plane of movement is the rear delts (don't let the elbows drop). It is hard to go real heavy on them, but I use a slow cadence to make it harder.

Yes, that is how I do them, but with the leather loop straps, makes it easier than the rope.
