Purple Wraath V3 Taste Review
Well let me first start off by saying that this is NOT SPONSERED! Back when PW first came out I bought a tub... lets just say that I wasnt pleased with the taste. I couldnt handle the taste actually, I had to choke it down and would occasionally throw up.
Version 1 Taste- 2/10
Now onto the new shiz. Right when I saw the box at my doorstep I cut it open to see if I got the CANDY, and obviously I did. I quickly opened it up to find it having a strong grape smell, which was a drastic change from the horrid smell of V1. I dumped 2 scoops in a 32 ounce water bottle and shook. At first I had about 16 ounces of water and it tasted really good, but it was too strong for me so I filled it up to around 32 ounces. This stuff really is CANDY! It tastes soooo good. The difference in taste is from V1 to V3 is unreal. I could honestly sip on this all day... which is what I have been doing since around 130 this afternoon.
Version 3 Taste- 9.5/10 (better then any other BCAA or EAA I have tasted)
Obviously Controlled Labs had to make sacrifices (pay more for flavoring while not bumping up the price of PW) to make the taste better and make customers happy. I think that this concern about the consumer makes CL a great company and they have had my loyalty ever since I first bought GB a long time ago. Keep up the great work CL!

I actually didn't mind that bitter twang in the samples I received. It is only really horrible when you get one of those with granules alone.

thanks for the great feedback.it does taste like candy. we sacrificed some profit margin because we know more people will buy it now that it tastes good and we will make up the difference in cost by selling more volume. so its a win win for the customer and CL.

the sample packets were version 2, he is comparing ver 1 to ver 3.

Just out out of curiosity, have you tried Xtend? I personally love the taste of all three flavors and wonder how you would compare the new taste to Xtend?

I've only tried V3 of PW, and Watermelon Xtend. Both are very good, the new wraath is sweeter and more enjoyable IMO.
I still love Watermelon Xtend though, but PW has a more powerful/sweet taste.

Ya as a matter of fact I have tried all 3 flavors of Xtend and love them all. I would have to rate the taste of PW above all of the Xtend flavors! PW does have a much stronger taste then the Xtend. Dont get me wrong though, sometimes I am in the mood watermelon or lemonade Xtend but for right now I am really enjoying my PW

Ya! Your are the one that made the PW Jello right? Im gonna make some tonight for my mom because she just had a tumor removed from her neck and mouth so she can only eat Jello for about a week. Nothing like anti catabolic Jello!

I thought the version 2 tasted pretty good.
Basing on the reviews, I guess Id love the v3 even more 
Can anyone compare the new PW with Xtend grape?
