hey, Im 15, 6'1 150lbs and was wondering, Im concentrating on getting a stronger chest and trimming fat off my upper body. I was just curious if I train each muslce group once a week, will I get any stronger? Is once a week per muscle group enough?

Yes once a week is good. Look around this site for some good beginner workouts.
