How much does a professional bodybuilder make (money wise)? Is there a bunch of ways they get paid? Example.. magizines, commercials, online, BBing products, etc?

-Mods cannot mass delete posts/threads
-Mods can only neg, no agreeing with posts
In other words if you do not like what you originally called yourself, do not take responsibility of what you wanted to at one point type for the world to see, or desperately want green boxes - YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK.

yankee staduim sells 50,000 tickets 70 times a year.. a bodybuilding show is lucky to have a couple hundred fans.. but you want them to get more money? do something to sell some seats and youll get paid..
besides that. ronnie was a full time police officer while winning sandows like teddy bears at the carnivale. thats how a real man handles their buisness -not selling drugs and posing at "private partys". and then use the excuse "i dont get paid enough", when the real reason is your too fuking lazy

you said its unfair that basketball and football players make so much more then bodybuilders.. you ever go to a bodybuilding show? theres nobody there, but they should get paid more?
theres no politics involved. get people to start going to the shows and you'll get paid more, simple as that..
so do you want us to take derek jeters salary and donate it to some bodybuilders? while your at it take some of my paycheck and give it to my garbageman..

What about these poker players getting these ridiculous amounts of money for sitting on their ass playing cards. How many people in the audience at those events? Same with billards don't they make a bit of money? Yet they would have less spectators then a bodybuiling competition.
It is the organization that keeps the profits and don't pass them down to the athletes.

gambling is a HUGE industry.. See Vegas and Macau.
Poker tournaments are also aired and watched by millions.. Bodybuilding shows are hardly watched by the audience sitting in the seats, let alone TV viewers.
Billards is a huge recreational game/sport.. There isn't an outrageous amount of money in billards, but definitely much more than bodybuilding.

the question is why should there even be pros?
bodybuilding in nothing, its a bunch of exercises, so what?
you people think its the public that doesn't get, but the truth is its you guys that can't handle the truth.
there is nothing special about an over sized, drugged up person. it doesn't matter how dedicated that person was to something that nobody else gives a **** about, they still won't give a **** about it.
dedicating yourself to something meaningless doesn't give it any meaning, it is still meaningless.
i want to hear what is so good about pro bodybuilding that people should care about it. go ahead tell me one thing.

poker players win a pot that is paid for by the entry. They dont get paid. They put in the stake (upto $10,000 for the world series main event) and get a percentage of the total pot. last year there was 8,000+ in main event giving a prize pool of $80,000,000!! The winner's share was 12,000,000. if you didnt make the top 800 you won nothing.
