    Surgery

    Years ago I had surgery to repair a lacerated liver and something else (i forget what) and the surgeon had to cut through my right middle abdominal. Now it is basically flat.

    Will it ever be the same?

    I also seem to get abdominal cramps (minor) if I sneeze sometimes on that side.

    no that muscle will never be the same.. Looks or feel..

    You may need to have surgery to repair that muscle if you want it to look right....

    Im not sure.. I know where it stands now, there is probably some scar tissue in there.. You could probably gain all strength back, especially since it was cut clean, and not torn..

    Best to ask a sports medicine Dr. to get a better perspective..
